Examination

1. The annual examination will be held during the 2nd half of December and 1st half of January.
2. Examination form to be filled every year during the months July and August.
3. Result will be declared in February.
4. Half-Yearly examination will be held at the convenience of the Examination Centre.

1. The age limit must be touched or crossed on the date of submission of examination form.
2. A student can be admitted directly in the classes given below based on their skill.
Child Group -----------
Preparatory Part- I, Part- II
Diploma in Fine Art- 1st year, 2nd year.
Adv. Diploma in Fine Art- 1st year
Specialisation 1st year
3. Percentage of attendence of a student must be 75%.

Student may write Theory Examination in any one of the following Mediums-
- Assamese
- Bangla
- English

1. a) Pass mark of Practical Exam and Home assignment is 40%.
b) Pass mark of Theory Exam is 30%.
2. Students must pass duly. No grace mark will be allowed.
3. a) In the course of Diploma in Fine Art (DFA) the aggregate mark obtained in 4th and 5th year examination will be considered as the final result.
     b) In Preparatory, Advance Diploma and Specialisation course, the result of final exam will be considered as the final result.
4. a) A successful candidate obtaining 60% or more marks in the aggregate will be     declared to have passed in the First Division.
b) A candidate securing 45% or more but less than 60% in the aggregate will be declared to have passed in the second division
c) A successful candidate securing less than 45% marks in the aggregate will be declared to have passed in the Third Division.
     d) A candidate securing more than 80% in the aggregate will be declared to have    passed in the First Division with Distinction.
